Crucial to the success of the UKfilmNet project, The UK Film Council has awarded initial seed funding for the launch of UKfilmNet as a definitive source of learning materials for both 14-19 and undergraduate learning materials, video tutorials and up-to-date industry expertise and advice.
The resources are grouped into three key areas, Camera & Lighting, Sound & Postproduction and Animation and Storyboarding.
The materials and resources are co developed and dseign with the specific expert input, materials and gudiance of some of the top film and television industry trade bodies. The Society of Lighting TV directors, The Guild of Television Cameramen, Women in Film and Television, Directors Guild of Great Britain, as well as Sky and BBC Learning have all helped with the sort of contemporary advice and input that are essential for providing teachers with the best possible teaching and learning materials.
