Each of the courses begins with both an investigation of the role of the specialism under consideration, as well as the important and contrbution to moving image industries the specialism provides.

All courses start from first principles giving an accessible pathway of study suitable for GCSE, A level and first year undergraduate study.

Some subject areas go into further depth, and the degree of progression expected from students through any given course, should be at the discrssion of the supervising teacher or lecturer, and the students' abilities.
